My Inspiration

DrLindaLeeI have been inspired by people who entered my life, sometimes for brief moments, who have been perfectly placed guides influencing choices at important crossroads.

Because of these experiences, I have come to realize the importance of every person, every thought, feeling, and action in every moment . . . for all beings that we knowingly or unknowingly come in contact with.

We are each like ripples in the water of life, moving outward toward countless others, whether we are aware of it or not. Inspired moments of thought and action are truly gifts that we all can enjoy.

My Vision

I enjoy working with all ages, and appreciate the depth and richness of each personal story. Individual and family strengths are cultivated, building hope and empowerment.

My Yoga Philosophy

Through yoga… we become aware of the interconnectedness of our body and mind with all that is. Through this awareness, we begin to realize our luminous nature. With the teaching of yoga, I hope to shine a little light on that pathway to experience, in a style that is accessible to people of all ages and stages in life.

My Yoga Story

I attended my first yoga class more than 30 years ago. That first yoga class taught me how to listen to the messages from my body without judgment, and to move and stretch it without striving, without forcing, and without pain.

Over the years, my yoga practice has been guided by wise and amazing teachers, and as I have grown, naturally my practice and lifestyle evolved. I have found yoga to be essential in maintaining my own sense of calm and well being, helping me maintain peace and composure when dealing with the stressors of life, and find balance when faced with unexpected change.

Today, I share the practice of yoga to help you experience the wonder and joy of nurturing your own mind and body, and to make choices based on that awareness. I share my love of yoga so that you might gain access to deep, personal meaning and higher wisdom, and experience your connection and relationship with all that is.

My Teacher

John Featherstone, Masters in Yoga Education
Following the lineage of his Teacher Dr. VS Rao, Sri Prabhuji, of the High-Tech Yoga Institute of America, Integral Yoga. Dr. VS Rao (Baba) studied and dedicated his life to yoga, practice and scriptures. Through his guru Sri Ramlal Maharaj, he attained the highest states in yoga and became a realized master.

Yoga Teacher Training

The Movement Center, Hatha Yoga, under the tutelage of Swami Chetanananda. The lineage held by Swami Chetanananda, which permeates all teachings held within The Movement Center, originated with Bhagavan Nityananda. These teachings and lineage were passed from Nityananda to many disciples, including American born, Albert “Rudi” Rudolph. Rudi was also greatly influenced by Swami Muktananda, and was initiated by him as a Swami into the Saraswati order. Before he died, Rudi handed the spiritual baton to Swami Chetananda to carry on the work.
